Located right here in Bensalem, Nate Gordon’s Black Belt Academy has been transforming lives through martial arts since 1991 — that’s over 35 years of building stronger minds, bodies, and spirits in our community!
Led by Senior Master Instructor Nate Gordon, the academy specializes in traditional Korean martial arts, including Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. Their mission is simple but powerful: to help both children and adults grow in confidence, focus, and strength—both physically and mentally.
Fun fact: Nate Gordon is also an author! He has written two books — Nonverbal Behaviors in the Martial Arts and Truth or Lie — further sharing his knowledge and experience beyond the mat.

The Bensalem Business Association is proud to spotlight an organization that is truly changing lives — for both pets and their people — The Bridge Clinic 💙
Founded in 2012 by Michele Miller, The Bridge Clinic grew from a heartfelt mission during the housing crisis, when abandoned animals became a heartbreaking reality across the Philadelphia area 🐱🐶 What began as a passion project quickly turned into something extraordinary, leading to the creation of Rescue Purrfect and a full-service nonprofit veterinary clinic.
From its early days on Old Lincoln Highway to its beautiful 10-acre campus along the Neshaminy River 🌳🌊, The Bridge Clinic has continued to grow into a one-of-a-kind facility. Today, they are Philadelphia’s largest full-service nonprofit veterinary clinic, providing everything from wellness and routine care to specialty services and orthopedic surgery 🏥🐾
What truly sets The Bridge Clinic apart is their commitment to helping families facing financial hardship 🤝 Their team works closely with clients to problem-solve and ensure pets get the care they need. Through creative initiatives like their on-site café ☕ and thrift shop 🛍️, they help fund life-saving treatments and make care more accessible for everyone.
Their impact goes even further through partnerships with incredible organizations like Animal Lifeline and Red Rover 🐾❤️, expanding their reach and ability to help animals in need. When asked to describe their business, their answer says it all: “You just need to come check it out.” 👀 And they’re right — there is truly nothing else like it.
